Lazy Dinner: Juicy Garlic Chicken with Baby Potatoes


Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes


  • 1 chicken (~3,3 pounds)
  • 600 g (21 oz) baby potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp dry garlic
  • 2 Tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 spings of parsley
  • Pepper, salt to taste
  • Olive oil


  1. For the sauce: mix 3 cloves of garlic, cream cheese and all the spices. Mix well.
  2. Wash the chicken well, fill it with tomatoes and parsley. Rub the sauce on all sides of the chicken.
  3. Wash the baby potatoes. Place the chicken on a baking dish and the potatoes around the chicken. Drizzle chicken and potatoes with a little olive oil.
  4. Bake chicken at 180℃ for 90 minutes. If during the cut you see that the chicken is not baked, send it to the microwave for 7 – 10 minutes. This will keep the chicken juicy.


  • If you’re worried about the chicken being cooked, cover it with foil and bake like this.
  • To check that the chicken is done, make an incision in the thigh and drumstick area.
