Golden Coconut Milk

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 250 mL (1 cup + 1 Tbsp) milk
  • 110 mL (1/4 cup + 3 Tbsp) coconut milk (17 – 20% fat)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan, whisk all ingredients together over medium-high heat. Stir often and watch to avoid scorching the milk and spices. 
  2. As soon as it heats up and you see steam, then remove from the heat. Pour through a strainer and serve. Top with cinnamon powder.
