Baking time: 30 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
Yield: 8 bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas
  • 80 g (1/3 cup) peanut butter
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) milk
  • 110 g (1 cup + 1/4 cup) old-fashioned oats
  • 40 g (3 Tbsp + 2 tsp) chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp natural sweetener (apple/maple)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Olive oil to grease the baking dish

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until they soften and smooth.
  2. Add peanut butter, milk and stir well.
  3. Add old-fashioned oats and coconut chips. Stir well again.
  4. Grease a baking dish with any vegetable oil and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F)
  5. Enjoy your breakfast with peanut butter bars!

Notes:

  • Keep in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
